I started at Accenture as a fresher trained in .NET, and spent 3+ years building enterprise backend systems, DevOps pipelines, and internal automation tools. The work that thrilled me most? Reporting automation, business logic optimization, and management dashboards anything that turned manual chaos into a clean system.
On the side, I ran a personalized gifting business. When WhatsApp couldn't keep up with customer orders, I taught myself JavaScript and built my own order management app complete with image uploads via Firebase, a dashboard, printable address labels, and delivery tracking. It replaced hours of daily chaos. That rush of solving my own problem with code that's when I knew what I wanted to do.
I moved to Bangalore (104% hike), learned Angular, then landed a US-based remote role as an Integration Developer working with Azure, Microsoft Graph, Power Platform, and later AI agents with Copilot Studio. Combined with freelancing, I was earning over ₹4 lakhs/month. I registered GST as CloudShift Solutions and started dreaming big.
But the real turning point? A computer repair shop owner in Salem told me ERP vendors had quoted him lakhs. I built him a working prototype in one week, for thousands.
